How much does Oztag Cost ? 

Registration for our junior competition (6-16 years) is $90.00  per person per team per season.  Registration for our senior competition (15+ years) is $100.00  per person per team per season. No other fees are collected at each game. 

How long does the season run for ? 

Oztag is played over the Summer months. The competition length is typically 10 – 12 competition rounds plus a finals series. Kicking off mid October, breaking over Christmas and returning in the New Year

How long do the games go for? 

Games run for 40minutes (20 minutes halves).  

How can I join?

Am I able to register as an individual player? 

Yes, we will place individual players into teams. Please see “Individual Players” for more information.

What uniform is required for Oztag?

Teams arrange their own playing tops. Players are required to be in the same style/colour playing top with a number on the back. Teams can choose between t-shirts or singlets but muscle t’s (large cut out underarms) aren’t allowed as they increase the risk of finger injuries. We have a supplier who can do a basic cotton tshirt for approx $15.00- $20.00 with a number. They also do other sublimated styles as well. But if teams have a contact they can purchase their playing top from anywhere.

Official Oztag shorts – $30 / tights -$35 MUST be worn. Both the black/red domestic style and representative garments can be worn but MUST be from an approved supplier. Oztag Shorts / tights can be purchased round 1 of the competition

Players may wear football boots but only those with plastic moulded studs, no metal tip or screw in studs are permitted. Players may also wear joggers to play.
